Jennifer Laidlaw completed her MD at the University of British Columbia (UBC) prior to completing her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. During her residency she was a fervent participant in medical education and has presented at international conferences and written on the topic of delirium screening as well as social media and professionalism. She spent the beginning of her career as the Head of Consultation Liaison (CL) Psychiatry at Surrey Memorial Hospital where she focused on creating a vibrant and highly collaborative CL service which provides psychiatric care for patients in the medical and surgical wards including the palliative and oncology units.
